My name is Ziska Bulban.
I am a journalist and have been working for some of the biggest papers in Germany (Spiegel, Zeit, FAZ). All I ever wanted to do is tell stories that connect us to the world around. That give us an idea of where we stand and how we relate to each other. I love my job.
But the world has become a loud and hectic place, especially the world of information. And I wanted to find out: Is there a different way?
A way to tell stories where both of us are taking time — me telling the story and you, listening to it? Is there a way in which I can connect visual, physical and auditive learning? Is there room where stories can be both happy and sad, spiritual and scientific, factual and emotional?
Because in my experience, this is how the world works: It is at the same time so beautiful it can slow your breath and so vile it can stop it.
I want to make room for both. And start a different way of communicating with each other. One that leaves room for the fact, that there are humans on both ends of this line.
This is why I founded Mindfully Informed to devote my time to creating experiences like these. I hope, in the future they will take many forms. If you are interested in working with me on these concepts or hear me speak about my research and experience with them, please shoot me an email: ziska@mindfullyinformed.com.
If you have feedback, ideas or questions, please do the same. I am looking forward to hearing from you. I know that this is just the beginning of a journey. And I am looking forward to meeting many on the way.
